"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 ESV

Our mission is to help make disciples of Christ that will work with Saint Brigid to magnify the many blessings of Christ. To grow not only in Christ, but also within the Body of Christ. Observed within the Anglican Tradition. High Church Liturgy. Broad Church Theology. Celtic traditions and culture. All are welcomed to join in fellowship with Christ.

Explore what we offer

Fellowship

Focusing primarily on lay monasticism, we work with our community to help our community, for the betterment of our community. We seek to pray with (and over) each other as we learn to grow deeper in our faith and learning of Christ.

Worship

TBD - Working towards being able to celebrate the Eucharist on Sundays and Red Letter Days. Check back at a later to date for more information.

Community Outreach

As time continues to progress, the evidence of loneliness continues to grow. When we are able to, we will reach out to our neighbors and loved ones to offer comfort. Whether that is to be a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, or a belly to feed, we will seek out where we are called to offer the light and love of Christ to all.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 ESV

Who
we are

We are from Erin, TN: a wee bit of Ireland in Tennessee & home to the Fighting Irish! We are a community of Christians (catholic and Protestant) that do our best to pray and watch over each other.

We are currently discerning to establish a double house monastery near Erin, TN. With Saint Brigid as our Abbess and patron saint, we are seeking like-minded men and women to grow in our faith with Jesus Christ. While there will be “church-like” elements working within Saint Brigid’s Abbey, this is not what we wish to offer our community. Instead, we pray to offer a supplemental experience for you to be able to grow and learn deeper within your own faith with Jesus.
